SSS INQUIRIES

Many of us encounters different problems with our SSS account. Some problem includes, membership application, contributions, loans and other benefits, and remittances.

If you are not an SSS Member, its better to apply now. As long as you have the basic requirements and you are eighteen years old and above. You can apply the organization to the nearest SSS Branch.

If you are an active member and having trouble with your contributions, you can check it online, just register on the SSS Official Site. Once you are registered you can check your account status every now and then. If you can't register online, please visit the nearest branch and update your status of membership. If you are an employed member of SSS, your employer will be the one to remit your contributions depending on the number of months you are employed with them. 50% employer's share and another 50% will be deducted to your monthly salary. If you are not employed or not working with any companies, you can remit your monthly personal contribution with SSS.

If you want to apply for a salary loan with SSS, not all members are allowed. It may vary on the number of months of your contribution.

      sino ang nagkamali ang sss ba na nag issue ng card mo? o ikaw na nagfill out ng form? baka mali din kasi ang pagkakasulat mo kaya di nila naintindihan. kapag sila nagkamali, dapat ipunta mo ulit yan sa sss tapos papalitan nila ng walang bayad.

    Hi. I was wondering how long it would take before payments are posted on the SSS website? I made a payment through SM as a voluntary contributor. It's been more than a month, but the payments are still not showing up when I access my online SSS account. I'm getting worried, and I would really appreciate a reply. Thanks.

      that is our major problem too.. late posting for employees contribution and salary loan. it is much better if you pay thru your nearest sss branch. i guess you need to go to your nearest sss branch and present them the necessary docs so that they can upload immediately.

    Ask ko lang po nag file po ko ng cancellation of double ss number sabi ng sss after 3 months papadala sila ng sulat sakin para malaman ko kung ano ang gagamitin kong ss number lagpas 3 months na po pero wala pa din akong natatanggap na sulat galing sa sss

    it seems that sss website is experiencing a major problem. their website for checking your personal account is not working for almost a week already. they should fix this problem immediately since almost everyone is checking their account online.     Anu pong doc need ko ipasa kasi nagawol ako nung oct 2013 sa last work ko. I gave birth last june 2014. Ayaw po ako bigyan ng any cert ng previous work ko kasi awol daw po ako. Sayang po yung contributions ko kasi pinagtrabahuhan ko yun po. Kasalanan naman po nila yun. Nagfile ako ng resignation before ako magawol kaso ayaw nila. Di nakarating sa hr kasi inipit ng boss ko po. Maselan ang pagbubuntis ko kaya pinagawol na ko ng husband ko po. Anu pong pwede kong gawin para maclaim po yung maternity ko? Thanks po.

    Hi! I went to the nearest SSS branch here in Davao City coz I want to apply for a salary loan but unfortunately, the staff told me that they are no longer accepting any salary loan in their branch and advised me to apply online and it will be directed into Cebu's SSS branch BUT the problem is,I already have my SSS online membership account but I wasn't able to log in because the server said that my account is not yet registered. And I think the SSS website is not updated. What would be the other option for this problem? I badly need to apply for a salary loan as soon as possible. Looking forward for your reply. Many thanks!

    Hello SSS, I have submitted my Mat 2 form along with the other requirements. However I was advised (by our HR staff) that the Original copy of my child’s birth certificate will not be accepted since it doesnt have a SEAL/STAMP. Is this true? Please respond, as we find it ridiculous to have submitted the ORIGINAL copy hence its more legit than a CTC.

    good day po... ask ko lang kung magkaiba po ba ang death claim at burial assistance..kasi namatay po ang father ko nung june..ang inasikaso ko lang yung burial assistance nya na kung magkano dw ang nagastos nung burol iyon dw ang makukuha namin...pero may nagsabi samin na may death claim pa din na makukuha...dahil magkaiba dw po iyon...totoo po ba? kung ganun bakit di man lang sinabi samin ng sss valenzuela para isang lakaran nalang...salamat po..

    Hello, good day po. Ask ko lang sana what's needed para maka-apply ng disability benefits ang brother ko. Na-stroke siya now, he's 62 yrs old. Nakapaghulog siya ng contributions before pero hindi natapos. Nawala yong E-1 at iba pang mga papers niya due to pagkasira ng bahay. We only have his voter's ID. What can I do to help him mag-asikaso ng SSS niya?

    nag try po kami mag apply ng mister ko last january 2020 5months na po ang tiyan ko that time, kaso di po kami tinanggap kase daw po wala hulog ung last 2019 ko nag stop po kase ako sa work, ayaw din po nila tanggapin kahit daw po i update ko pa ung last yr up to january.     Ask ko lang po kung bakit ang tagal ng process sa sss death claim ng kapatid ko mag 4months napo hanggang ngayon wala pa complete naman po namin naipasa ang requirements. Ang sabi nila after 1month meron na nakapag open nadin po kmi ng bank account ng claimant. Sana po masagot salamat po
